UFC comes to Michigan for the first time!  “Rampage” Jackson will main event vs. Lyoto Machida at the 23,000 seat palace on November 20.

Jake Shields has officially signed on with the UFC taking him out of the free agent pool.  He will join the tough ranks of the Welterweight Division and try to capture some of that lightning in a bottle he had over with Strikeforce.

After breaking his arm in a bout defeating UFC Icon Chuck Liddell, Rich Franklin has been advised by his doctors to see if his arm heals on its own in a cast.  They want to give it at least three weeks before opting for surgery.  I’m still disappointed that Chuck’s glass jaw let us fans down again.

Tito Ortiz is riding one lucky roller coaster and I don’t mean Jenna Jameson.  The charges of domestic violence have been dismissed due to insufficient evidence.  Dana White, president of the UFC, has made it known that there will be no punishment brought on after this fiasco.  He is set for a possible return to the octagon in October or November.

Tito Ortiz what the hell are you thinking??  How could you put a beat down on Jenna Jameson?  He was arrested for felony domestic assault against the mother of his twins and released on a $25,000 bond.  This freaking idiot’s reputation will be forever damaged beyond repair.  This would make reason #2 for me not to watch ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ anymore this season.  First we were lied to about Chuck vs. Tito and now this.  Wow…..

Randy Couture was sharp in his moves vs. a talented Mark Coleman which resulted in a round 2 defeat!  Coleman tapped to a rear naked choke making Couture the winner.

Could Brock Lesnar get even more intimidating?  I’d say a devilish goatee will do the trick! 

UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre continues to be a breakout face to the mainstream for the sport of mixed martial arts. After securing an endorsement deal with monster sports endorser Gatorade earlier this year, GSP has now added a deal with athletic apparel company Under Armour.
