“Smokin Aces” was a very cool cult hit featuring a whole ton of Hollywood’s finest.  Well they decided to make a sequel with maybe only half the talent but could still be cool with the whole shoot ‘em up aspect.

Scarlett Johansson shows off some fashion for Mango!  She is sizzling hot and keeps our full attention!  It must suck to be Ryan Reynolds.

Scarlett Johanson & Pete Yorn put on a singing performance for Ellen and her guests.  We are happy that Scarlett has a supportive husband like Ryan Reynolds because we really would’ve figured he would’ve stopped the singing thing by now.  Wow…what a set of chops!  Is it me or does she look really awkward??

It will be a sad day when Andy Samberg leaves SNL.  Here is another comedy masterpiece “Throw It on the Ground.”  The best part of SNL is the Digital Shorts!

Is it too early for Iron Man hype?  I’d say probably not!  I do wonder if the new formula will work for the sequel.  The additions of Scarlett Johansson & Micky Rourke look great on paper but can they pull off their parts without being cheesy in this film.  For example: The Spirit!  This was probably one of the worst acting jobs I have ever seen by Scarlett.  Don’t get me wrong because the movie was just that all around bad, but she can ill afford to bring that type of phony acting to this film as Black Widow!  All of the superhero nerds will spot it right away.  Mickey Rourke has had one role in the last ten years that you guys have excepted in The Wrestler.  Otherwise I feel he is still cutting his teeth on a comeback.  Is this role worth seeing if he has a second wind in him???  We will find out the hard way I guess as the movie is scheduled to be next year’s huge blockbuster.

Warner Brothers has finally chosen the actor to portray legendary superhero “Green Lantern” and he is none other than Ryan Reynolds.  That’s right!  The guy who made us piss ourselves laughing at his “Van Wilder” character and bumped naked uglies with Sandra Bullock in “The Proposal” will wear the green tights for our viewing pleasure.  Ok that didn’t come out right but he will entertain us by flashing around that wonder ring and fighting up a frenzy.  I just hope Mr. Reynolds can find the time in between his “Wolverine” spin off “DeadPool.”  He has come a long way since his television role in “Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place.”
