“Alvin and the Chipmunks- The Squeakquel” arrives in theatres on X-mas Day. It features such stars as Jason Lee, Justin Long, Anna Faris, David Cross and Jesse McCartney.

What can I say about “Drag Me to Hell?”  This movie is basically about a curse.  It is a curse that is put on a bank clerk because of an old lady that couldn’t pay her mortgage.  Hmm…is this the best the writer could come up with for motive?  Geez…so with thatalong with the addition of the comedic presence of Justin Long already leaves a crappy taste in my mouth!  It is a shame too because Alison Lohman’s character is so sweet in this movie that you feel sorry for her.  Unfortunately, that can only take you so far in a film.  The next thing I know I’m watching this little old lady turn into an unstoppable force and fighting like a ninja!  There are false teeth flying, eye balls popping and goats that talk!  I was ready to look away around the 30 minute mark and not because of the effects of the horror genre, but for a simple feeling of shame for director Sam Raimi.  He must’ve slept through most of the actual filming of this movie or passed the torch to the 16 year old intern that was sitting next to him.  Horror fans you all deserve better!  If you watch this film, I will curse you to hell!!!!
