The Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIV to capture the team’s first championship in franchise history.  Yesterday they received their gold but I’m sure it is far from their minds as they prepare for yet another season!

New Orleans Saints and bad officiating are both headed to the Superbowl!!!  The Saints led by the men in stripes & Drew Brees have gotten past a penalty ridden Minnesota Vikings team to head to Miami!  Bad calls in overtime & blind judgement have launched the Saints into a game vs. Peyton Manning & the Colts!  Good luck!

Baltimore Ravens just didn’t show up to play vs. their arch rival the Indianapolis Colts.  The Ravens managed seven penalties which has sort of been a staple of play for them all year.  Also their offense couldn’t get into the end zone as they only managed 3 points.  This was a joke of a game and for the season to end like this is disheartening.  Oh well…bring on the draft.

Baltimore Ravens destroy the New England Patriots on NFL Wild Card Weekend.  The game started with Ray Rice running for a 83 yard touchdown on the opening play and the Ravens never looked back.  The game ended 34-14 knocking Tom Brady for his first playoff loss at home & advancing the Ravens into the next round vs. the Indianapolis Colts.

Peyton Manning has pulled in his record setting fourth league MVP!  The NFL is Peyton’s Place and until he takes a seat he will be the best quarterback around!
