Steeler QB Byron Leftwichwent down with a MCL sprain in the preseason finale vs. Carolina on Thursday.  Coack Mike Tomlin says he could miss up to four weeks with the injury which now puts all the focus on 2nd year man Dennis Dixon.  That dude can run until the cows come home but is still green as far as passing goes.  The Broncos defense last week took him to the house for six & picked him in the endzone.  Hey good luck Steelers!  You’re gonna need it.

UFC comes to Michigan for the first time!  “Rampage” Jackson will main event vs. Lyoto Machida at the 23,000 seat palace on November 20.

Kyle Busch is Nascar’s most talented villain!  He is the first driver in the sport to win in all three series over a single week.  Let me tell you he did it in style.  He won the truck race after having to start at the rear of the field.  Then he “dumped” Brad Keselowski Friday chalking up his second win and finally, he outlasted Jamie McMurray & David Reutimen to win in the Sprint Cup Series.  He is now third in points and can clinch his spot in the chase with a 40th place finish or better at Atlanta.  Congrats!

Kyle Busch won the O’Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday evening.  Trust me it wasn’t as easy as you might think.  Kyle did take the pole but had to start at the back of the pack due to tinkering around with the engine.  Nonetheless, he sliced and diced quickly through the field Read the rest of this entry »

Miesha Tate is slowly filling the vacated shoes of Gina Carano.  This sexy war machine just won the Strikeforce Challengers Tourney at the 135 pd. weight class and looks very strong.  She has a great wrestling ground game that overcame even the best submission specialists in Hitomi Akano in the finals of this Welterweight Tournament.  Did I need to add that she has the looks to replace the most sought after female MMA fighter/actress Gina Carano??  I didn’t think so!
