Nascar layed down the law on Carl Edwards for wrecking Brad Keslowski but was it enough? You be the judge.

Anquan Boldin meets with the press in Baltimore as fans and media alike go nuts!  He has vowed to get down and dirty in the trenches to play some smash mouth football in the AFC North.  He also mentioned he owes Pittsburgh some payback from the Superbowl loss.  The Ravens are currently working on re-signing WR Derrick Mason to complement Boldin.

The regular season ends with a BANG!!!  #1 Syracuse falls to Louisville in an upset special!  The #1 ranked team in the nation fell 78-68 to the Cardinals.  The NCAA will come into play during selection Sunday next week.

Rodney Stuckey really avoided yet another sports tragedy as paramedics were quick to act on his best behalf.

The biggest NFL free agent on the market didn’t last long!  The Chicago Bears have reached an agreement with Julius Peppers on a six year deal in which the contract totals $91.5 million and has $42 million in guarantees.

Anquan Boldin is now a Baltimore Raven!  He was traded to the land of purple and black for a 3rd & 4th round pick.  He also agreed to a contract extension with the Ravens which will make the 29 y/o receiver $28 million dollars richer!

Tawanna Iverson has filed divorce papers against her husband and former NBA Superstar Allen Iverson.  Allen’s life seems to be in a downward spiral after flopping during his return to the 76ers.

The Maryland Terrapins beat #4 Duke to tie for the lead in the ACC.  Maryland stormed out of the gates early only to surrender a 12-2 run to “The Dukies” before the half making it 40-38.  That was about the biggest run they had in trying to catch Gary Williams & his Terps as the they went on to capture the upset victory 79-72.  It was an awesome game and the fans made it electric.

The NFL has announced it will return its Pro Bowl to Hawaii in 2011.  I guess they got enough complaints from the players about not having much of a vacation if they had to continue to play it in Miami.
