Taylor Momsen seems like a pretty crazy lead for a band. Oh well it is worth the listen nonetheless.

Avenged Sevenfold jamming at the Montreal Festival this year.  I wish I could’ve made it out to see them at some point because they are awesome live.

Rapper T.I. and wife Tameka Cottle were arrested late Wednesday night on drug charges after police smelled what they thought was weed from their car.  They were taken in on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and bail was set at $10,000.

This cd features some great guest talent on vocals such as SHINEDOWN frontman Brent Smith, FLYLEAF singer Lacey Mosley, and Joseph Duplantier of French metal act GOJIRA.  I would grab a listen if you get the chance.

Drunk driving checkpoints do pay off!  Faith Evans, Grammy Award winner,  was nabbed by Los Angeles police on suspicion of misdemeanor D.U.I.  She was later released on bail and her vehicle impounded. 

Zakk Wylde is on the cover of the new “Revolver” magazine which I’m sure will cover his latest project “Order of the Black”.

MTV will host the 27th annual VMAs on September 12 and the show is shaping up to be a barn burner.  Kanye West & Justin Bieber are just some of the announced performances thus far.  I’m sure we’ll get a heavy dose of Katy Perry and her wonder twins as well.  The show will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.  Lets hope it isn’t a watered down shell of itself.  Leave the Snooki’s at home please!

Ok fans!  Listen I know times are tough with the economy beating us down, but you have to keep buying tickets to listen to Katy Perry gargle bath water!  I mean look how nicely she squeezes into those tight dresses.  This is a priority not gasoline or buying groceries.  Eye candy always pays off in dividends!
